    Uses of Uripay 200 Tablet: - Muscle spasms of the urinary tract Cystitis, Urinary incontinence, Urgency and frequency, Bladder spasms, Dysuria, Nocturia, Suprapubic pain, Prostatitis, Urethritis Pyloric or duodenal obstruction; obstructive intestinal lesions or ileus; achalasia; GI haemorhrage or obstructive uropathies of the lower urinary tract; myasthenia gravis; severe ulcerative colitis; toxic megacolon; glaucoma; children <12.

    Flavoxate acts as a direct antagonist at muscarinic acetylcholine receptors in cholinergically innervated organs. Its anticholinergic-parasympatholytic action reduces the tonus of smooth muscle in the bladder, effectively reducing the number of required voids, urge incontinence episodes, urge severity and improving retention, facilitating increased volume per void.
    How to use Flavoxate Hydrochloride: Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Flavoxate Hydrochloride is to be taken with food. Administration: May be taken with or without food. Adult Dose: Oral Adult: Overactive Bladder Indicated for dysuria, increased urinary frequency/incontinence, nocturia, suprapubic pain, urinary incontinence, urinary tract irritation, urinary urgency 100-200 mg PO q6-8hr Child Dose: Dysuria, Urinary Frequency Indicated for dysuria, increased urinary frequency, nocturia, suprapubic pain, urinary incontinence, urinary tract irritation, urinary urgency <12 years: Not recommended; safety and efficacy not established >12 years: 100-200 mg PO q6-8hr
    Amantadine, some antihistamines, phenothiazine antipsychotics, tricyclic antidepressants, MAOIs; parasympathomimetics. May decrease gastric motility thus decreasing absorption of certain drugs. May antagonise the GI effects of cisapride, domperidone, metoclopramide.
    Pyloric or duodenal obstruction; obstructive intestinal lesions or ileus; achalasia; GI haemorhrage or obstructive uropathies of the lower urinary tract; myasthenia gravis; severe ulcerative colitis; toxic megacolon; glaucoma; children <12.
    Common - Nausea - Vomiting - Dryness in mouth - Headache - Drowsiness - Dizziness - Blurred vision - Nervousness Increased intraocular pressure; difficulty in ocular accommodation; blurred vision; dry mouth and throat; GI disturbances; nervousness; vertigo; headache; fatigue; confusion; hypersensitivity reactions; dysuria; tachycardia; palpitation; hyperpyrexia; eosinophilia; leukopenia, abdominal pain, constipation and difficulty in concentrating.
    Pregnancy: Pregnancy Category B. This drug should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed.Nursing Mothers: It is not known whether this drug is excreted in human milk. Caution should be exercised when flavoxate is administered to a nursing woman.
    Precaution: May affect ability to drive or operate machinery. May worsen hyperthyroidism, coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, prostatic hypertrophy, arrhythmias, tachycardia. Pregnancy; lactation; elderly; autonomic neuropathy; hiatus hernia with reflux esophagitis, hepatic and renal impairment. Lactation: not known if excreted in breast milk, use caution
