    Uses of Avonex: - Vertigo - Motion sickness Nausea, vomiting, dizziness, motion sickness, radiation sickness and vertigo associated with diseases of vestibular motion sickness, radiation sickness and vertigo associated with diseases of vestibular system, morning sickness during pregnancy, drug induced nausea, vomiting induced by oral contraceptives or Estrogen preparations. Meclizine Hydrochloride and Pyridoxine Hydrochloride is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to these ingredients.
    How to use Meclizine Hydrochloride + Pyridoxine Hydrochloride: Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Meclizine Hydrochloride + Pyridoxine Hydrochloride may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. Administration: May be taken with or without food. Adult Dose: Oral Motion sickness Adult: 25-50 mg Meclizine 1 hr before travelling and repeat 24 hrly if needed. Vertigo and vestibular disorders Adult: 25-100 mg Meclizine daily in divided doses. Discontinue if there is no response after 1-2 wk of treatment. Radiation sickness: 50 mg Meclizine administered 2-12 hours prior to radiation treatment. Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) has been shown to be safe and effective in dosages of 50 to 200 mg per day. Child Dose: Oral <12 years: Safety and efficacy not established
    Additive effects with CNS depressants, neuroleptics, anticholinergics, alcohol.
    Meclizine Hydrochloride and Pyridoxine Hydrochloride is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to these ingredients.
    Common - Dryness in mouth - Allergic reaction - Drowsiness - Headache - Fatigue Drowsiness, thickening of bronchial secretions, dry mouth, fatigue, blurred vision.
    Precaution: Prostate hypertrophy, obstruction of bladder neck, narrow angle glaucoma, pyloric stenosis. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Pregnancy. Lactation: Not known if excreted in milk; use caution
    Meclozine blocks vasopressor response to histamine and has a slight blocking action against acetylcholine. It decreases excitability of the middle ear labyrinth and blocks conduction in the middle ear vestibular-cerebellar pathways. Pyridoxine is a water-soluble vitamin which functions in the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins and fats. It is essential in Hb formation and GABA synthesis within the CNS. It also aids in the release of glycogen stored in the liver and muscles.
