Dr. Molla is the most reputed senior Dental & Maxillofacial Surgeon in Bangladesh. He was the former Chairman of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and also the Dean of Faculty of Dentistry at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). He has multiple publications in the most highly reputed medical journals around the world. Dr. Molla is the choice of doctor for all dental and oral procedures including oral cancer, dental implants, facial bone trauma/fractures, jaw tumors, TMJ/Jaw joint problem and Jaw reconstruction. He obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from University of Dhaka. Then he received his post-graduate diploma in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the world-renowned Osaka University in Japan and PhD (OMS) from Hiroshima University, Japan. Dr. Molla also obtained prestigious fellowship FDS RCPS Glasgow from Royal College of Physician and Surgeons, Glasgow, UK. Prof. Dr. Motiur Rahman Molla achieved his FCPS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from BCPS. After which he received specialized training in the field from hospitals in Australia and Canada.
